Jon joined the ministry of Skyview Ranch in January of 2022 and after a strategic merger in 2024 has become the Executive Director of Camp Patmos as well. He is passionate about Christian camping ministry and enjoys building teams, managing operational efficiencies, encouraging individuals in their faith, and giving believers opportunities to serve the Lord. Before coming to SVR, Jon spent 6 years in Pastoral ministry (Outreach, Discipleship, Youth & Counseling) at First Baptist Church of Elyria, Ohio and 10 years in business management. He holds degrees in Business Marketing (B.A.-Liberty University) and Ministry (M.A.- Piedmont International Univ.), and is currently working on his Doctorate in Community Care & Counseling through Liberty University. Jon has been serving youth and families in various capacities for over 15 years and has extensive experience in teaching, counseling, coaching (soccer), and organizational leadership. Jon focuses much of his time developing leaders and discipling young people. Jon and his wife Amber have 5 children (Kali, Kayden, Kayci, Konnor and Klayton) and love serving in the ministry together. They are members at First Baptist Church of Elyria. When the Casbohms aren’t serving at camp they love camping, playing sports, fishing, skiing/snowboarding, and spending time with friends and family. 

Jon’s Favorite Passage: Ephesians 2:8-9 – “For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God,  not a result of works, so that no one may boast.”

For those of you who do not know Jacob and his family, they are coming with a wealth of knowledge about camp ministry, specifically at Camp Patmos. While Jacob started out in camp ministry as a camper at Skyview Ranch, he transitioned to working at Camp Patmos on Summer Staff for 6 years. He fulfilled roles such as being a cabin leader, program director, boat driver, and health officer. Most recently at Camp Patmos, Jacob has filled the role of Summer Director, who oversaw many of the daily operations at Camp Patmos during the summer months.

Jacob is currently working as a Pediatric Med/Surg Nurse and holds a Bachelors Degree in Biology from Mount Vernon University and a Bachelors of Nursing Degree from Ashland University. Jacob and his wife Anna also have two young boys.

Benny is serving as the Director of Programming at Camp Patmos. Benny has been serving at Skyview Ranch since 2022 in various roles including Program Director and Cabin Counselor. This past year, Benny served as the Activity Coordinator at Skyview Ranch. Benny graduated from Liberty University in 2024 with a bachelor’s degree in Theology and Apologetics with a minor in digital media and video production. When not at work, Benny enjoys performing magic tricks/illusions, hunting and fishing, as well as playing disc golf.

Benny’s Favorite Bible Passage: Psalm 46 “Come, behold the works of the Lord, how he has brought desolations on the earth. He makes wars cease to the end of the earth; he breaks the bow and shatters the spear; he burns the chariots with fire. “Be still, and know that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth!” The Lord of hosts is with us;the God of Jacob is our fortress.”

Jocelyn serves as the Office Coordinator at Camp Patmos. Jocelyn comes to Camp Patmos after serving at Skyview Ranch since 2023. She has served as a cabin counselor, program director and has served as an intern for 2 years. When not at work Jocelyn enjoys graphic design, watercolor painting, and going to hockey games.
