We’re Merging!

Skyview Ranch and Camp Patmos are excited to announce our strategic merger. This partnership in ministry enhances our shared commitment to providing transformative, Christ-centered summer camp programming for youth and families across Ohio and beyond. We believe our effectiveness will be strengthened by operating our camps more efficiently, and our unique histories position us to accomplish even more together.

You can expect that our ministry focus, along with our mission and values, will remain unchanged. Skyview Ranch and Camp Patmos are committed to offering the same great programs, Biblical teaching, and guest experiences at both of our amazing camps! While we are consolidating leadership and operational functions, you can count on us to continue providing the amazing summer camps, retreats, and guest group services you have come to love at each location.

Both camps will retain their distinct identities and continue operating as they have for generations, while the new structure will merge leadership roles. A united Board of Directors will oversee the continued success of the organization, with Jonathan Casbohm, Executive Director at Skyview Ranch, managing the day-to-day operations of both camps as Chief Executive Officer.

This merger represents more than just a combination of resources; it is a strategic alignment of mission and vision. “While some may be surprised by this annoucement, I am confident that all will share in our excitement about the move” said Jonathan Casbohm, Executive Director. “These two ministries have long complimented one another, and have such a unique bond. It only makes sense that now is the time to do more as one.”

The merger is expected to be finalized January 1, 2025. Over the next several months the ministries leadership team will be working to consolidate operations, streamline various processes, fill leadership roles, and prepare for the exciting year of ministry ahead! We do not anticipate any interruption to our ministry operations at either camp and look forward to even greater life impact ahead.

Thank you for your continued partnership in ministry. We look forward to serving your family, church, organization, or group in the future. May God continue to use both Skyview Ranch and Camp Patmos in meaningful ways for the gospel and for His glory.

Camp History

Skyview Ranch

Skyview Ranch is a Christian camp located in Millersburg, Ohio, offering seven unique weeks of summer camp from June to August. The Ranch gives campers an experience unmatched and offers horseback riding, swimming, adventure programming, and specialty camps.  Throughout the year, we host various events, retreats, and service opportunities suitable for all ages. Our facilities are available for use by churches, ministry organizations, schools, and other groups year-round.

This merger is the culmination of several years of discussion and prayer. The decision to merge was not made until God, in His timing, opened all the doors and quickly brought a unity of the Boards to merge with the driving belief that together we could reach more campers for Christ. We believe that our ministries are better together as we seek to impact lives for Christ.
