What is Banished?

“Banished” is the ultimate weekend retreat for Middle School and High School students eager for spiritual growth and a deeper understanding of God’s word. Through powerful teachings, focused worship, and a unique scenario rooted in Scripture, students will learn that living out their faith means more than just knowing words like mercy, grace, and compassion—it’s about putting them into action. With a dynamic speaker and interactive elements, “Banished” will inspire students to live lives that reflect the truth of their faith and stand apart.

Space is LIMITED for “Banished,” so start planning for your youth group to attend! Each youth group must bring their own leaders, with a minimum of one male and one female leader per group. Don’t miss this chance for your students to experience a weekend of growth and transformation together!

Retreat Information

The registration fee covers activities, meals, and housing.

Ferry Fees are NOT included. Churches will be responsible for ferry payments. Make sure to mention “Camp Patmos” to get a discounted rate.

BANISHED CHECK-IN: Friday Night between 6:00 – 7:30 pm

Location: at the Office at Camp Patmos

Please take the Kelleys Island Ferry Across on the Island. We will have one staff member at the ferry to collect luggage for those walking onto the ferry.

BANISHED CHECK-OUT: Sunday Morning (After Breakfast)

WHAT TO BRING:

Bedding (Twin Size), Pillow, Towels, Toiletries, Casual Clothing, Modest Swimsuit, Water Shoes, Bible, Pen, Notebook, Money for Camp Store

How to Register:

YOUTH LEADERS WILL REGISTER FOR THE WHOLE GROUP (THERE IS NO INIDIVIDUAL REGISTRATION)

1. As the Youth Leader, you are registering your whole group at once, Upon registration you will need an estimate as to how many students and leaders will be attending. (We do not need final numbers until closer to the event)

2. Click the Register Button and either Login to your Current Account or Create a New Account using your name

3. Click Add a Camper or Register New

4. Select “Banished Retreat” that you will register for

5. Type in the amount of Male/Female Teens as well as Male/Female Leaders

6. Proceed to Payment Screen. There is a $500 deposit due upon online registration. The remaining amount will not be due until arrival to camp property.

7. Click NEXT and complete the GROUP PROFILE FORM and fill out any dietary needs and what church you are associated with.

8. ACTIVITY WAIVERS will need to be turned in upon arrival to Camp Patmos. Check the PDF below or look for an email a couple of weeks out from your registration.

***If the student is under 18 years of age they will need the activity waiver to be signed by their parend or gaurdian.
